At the end of 2020, despite the pandemic, the export of textile products amounted to $ 1.9 billion, this year, exports are expected in the region $ 3.0 billion. In this regard, the need for financing enterprises is increasing. Textile enterprises, along with traditional bank financing, are actively looking for alternative sources of financing, including Islamic finance. A. Nigmatov also noted the growing interest of Uzbek enterprises in Islamic finance, the allocation of resources through commercial banks in accordance with the terms of Sharia. The parties discussed the study of the possibility of direct financing of large textile enterprises, decided to start the study with large cotton-textile clusters. Also, the parties discussed the proposal of the Association "Uztekstilprom" on the creation and financing of the Fund for the development of cooperation between textile enterprises. Due to the great interest of textile enterprises in Islamic finance, the parties decided to jointly organize a training seminar on the possibilities, mechanisms and features of Islamic finance in Uzbekistan.
