June 20-26 this year. Barcelona (Spain) hosts the International Exhibition of Textile and Sewing Equipment, ITMA 2019 clothing production. The show includes 200,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 1,500 exhibitors from 45 countries, more than 100,000 visitors from 140 countries.
On 24 June, a press conference on the theme: “Forming a system of training qualified personnel for the textile and garment and knitwear industry, introducing innovative areas in the education system and deepening research, studying foreign experience, using internal capabilities, international cooperation" was held in Tashkent.
In 2019, the AUTEX Conference was organised in GENT (Ghent), Belgium by the Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering (MaTCh) from Ghent University. The venue was the NH Gent Belfort Hotel (downtown) for the whole duration of the event from 11 to 15 June, 2019.
